The following eight pages have an alphabet grid with many of the letters missing. The last page has a blank grid where all of the letters are missing.

This link is an interactive guide to the structure of both the inner and outer human eye. If you hover over any of the various “i” information buttons on the diagram, the name of that part of the eye appears and an explanation about it appears at the bottom of the screen. When viewing the inner eye, you have an option to get a simple explanation as to how sight works.

Teaching Council To Get Extra Powers To Deal With Under-Performing Teachers

Teachers Must Be Registered With Teaching Council By End Of January
Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act 2011 will finally come into effect on January 28th this year. After many delays, Minister Ruairí Quinn finally signed the commencement order for this part of the Act on November 1st 2013, meaning that Section 30 is legally operative from this date. Minister Announces Further Funding For Prefab Replacement in 2014
The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairí Quinn, has announced an allocation of €15 million towards the next phase of the Prefab Replacement Scheme for 2014. It is estimated that over 2,600 pupils in primary and second level schools around the country will move into permanent accommodation from prefabs in 2014 under the scheme. read more…

These sentence builder activities are great for infant pupils as well as pupils with learning difficulties or special educational needs. They help to develop vocabulary, sentence structure and left to right orientation. They feature “Where is the ____” questions to get pupils focused on the “where” question as well as the question mark at the end rather than a full stop.

The following six pages have a number grid with some of the numbers missing. The last page has a blank grid where all of the numbers 1-10 are missing. Pages with missing numbers have a smaller number grid to help pupils identify the missing numbers.
