Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Colm’s Lambs – Book Review

Colm's LambsColm’s Lambs, by Anna McQuinn and illustrated by Paul Young, tells the story of a newborn lamb that might not survive. I enjoyed reading this book because it’s funny, but at same time sad. I really liked the main character Colm; he is kind and good at farming and looking after lambs. The dad has a good sense of humour, and he is also kind like Colm. read more…

Just Teach It Website

Just Teach ItJust Teach It is another website with downloadable resources for primary schools which I only recently came across. Based on the UK curriculum, the website says that it has over 1,000 resources which are arranged on the site according to theme, Early Years, KS1 and KS2. It says that, “Our engaging resources are geared towards providing an inviting and stimulating learning environment” and from the resources that I’ve seen, they certainly will do that. read more…

This app is meant to compliment the teaching of that programme as it replicates the slate chalkboard of the programme.
