Free Wee Library
I came across this lovely idea on a visit to a local park today – it had a “Free Wee Library”. Almost like a bird house, it has a slate roof and a door with a window. Inside, it contains books for children and adults which have been supplied by the local community. read more…
New Drama Resources
While we have been busy in the background for the past few months working on the revamp of the website, I’ve also been busily creating lots of new resources for the site. “Fast Forward” by Judi Curtin, was about a girl called Molly and her best friend Beth. Beth lives with Molly but his doesn’t seem to affect their friendship. Book Review: Rugby Runner
Rugby Runner is the fifth book in this series and I have read them all. I really like Gerard Siggins’ books, he is a brilliant writer, just as good as JK Rowling.

Outdoor Classroom Day
Outdoor Classroom Day, a worldwide day with a focus on learning and playing outdoors in school, takes place on Thursday May 18th.
Its aim is to give teachers and pupils an opportunity to try learning outside the classroom for the first time. For others who regularly learn and play outdoors, the day will be a celebration of what they are doing already and a chance to inspire other schools to get involved. read more…
