The days are gradually closing in and the autumn weather is making its presence felt. What better time then to do a Twitter Project. We did a Twitter project earlier in the year for the Signs of Spring and Mary Jo Bell suggested to me that we should do a similar one for the approach of autumn. Mission V Seeks Funding for Project

MissionV is a not-for-profit organisation which promotes the development of 21st century skills through innovative online technologies. It is enhancing the Irish classroom by providing the digital tools for teachers and students to design and create their own, curriculum-based, interactive content – for powerful new learning experiences. During the school year 2011-12 they ran a pilot project in 20 primary schools, supported by the National Centre for Technology and Education (NCTE). read more…

Veritas Prayer Assemblies Book Competition

It’s time for another book competition! Thanks to the religious bookseller Veritas, we have five copies of their new publication “Prayer Assemblies for Primary Schools” to give away. Blogging With Kidblog

Over the past few years I had read about other educators using Kidblog to get their pupils blogging. I didn’t delve into it too much as I had been teaching younger pupils for the past few years.
