Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Toilet Tokens 02
While teachers will always allow pupils to go to the toilet when necessary, we all know that some pupils will use the excuse of a trip to the toilet as a work avoidance tactic. These Toilet Tokens are to regulate pupils’ trips to the toilet.
The teacher can give the pupil an “allowance” of tokens to be used during the day or for a period during the day

Token Board 03
Some pupils with special needs, perhaps especially those with autism, will work better towards a goal when there is positive reinforcement in the form of tokens earned by completing tasks. This is sometimes referred to as a “Token Economy”. The tokens could be small pictures relating to the pupil’s special interest eg Thomas the Tank engine. You can download some of these tokens in the

They help to develop vocabulary, sentence structure and left to right orientation. They feature “The baby is ____” sentences and focus on -ing verbs. All pages should be laminated; the words on pages 7-9 should then be cut out. Velcro should be attached to the spaces

Christmas Resources on Nollaig Shona
Seomra Ranga’s website for Christmas resources, Nollaig Shona, is just over two years old and it contains lots of different resources for classroom planning for the Christmas season. Edublog Awards 2013 Nominations
It’s that time of year again when the international Edublog Awards nominations are being sought. Having won the prestigious “Best Individual Blog” at the awards last year, it would be great if Seomra Ranga was in the running for that award again this year.
