Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Counties of Ireland
This resource consists of posters/flashcards of the counties of Ireland. They are arranged according to their provinces, a different colour for each province. This should make a colourful display while at the same time making them easier for pupils to learn.

Book Review – Kilmainham Gaol
I was very excited on Tuesday when my teacher handed me “Kilmainham Gaol” by Andrew O’ Connor, to read and review. I love history and really enjoyed studying the stories of the famine and the 1916 rising which had strong links to the Gaol. read more…
