Litriú: Luaschártaí
This set of spelling signs is designed to assist pupils with one strategy that they can employ when learning Irish spellings. It consists of five rectangular signs that follow the Féach – Abair – Clúdaigh – Scríobh – Ceartaigh strategy. Each sign also contains a visual cue for pupils as to what that part of the strategy is.
Book Review – Fionn and the Fianna
This book was extremely good!! I love the way that it is based on something very important in Irish history and I also loved all the cool names that the characters had. I think my favourite character was probably Fionn, although I also liked Cana and Iolla. read more…

This new set of Tasc-Chártaí as Gaeilge is aimed at pupils in middle/senior classes. The cards are intended to be used as an oral language group work task to revise pupils’ knowledge of vocabulary and sentence construction based on the theme of “Mé Féin”. There are 60 cards in the pack, four per A4 page.
An Bosca Leabharlainne
Áine Ní Ghlinn, the current Laureate na n-Óg, has pioneered a new project aimed at encouraging primary school pupils to read as Gaeilge for pleasure. With this in mind, in partnership with Foras na Gaeilge and the Arts Council, she has launched “An Bosca Leabharlainne”, a scheme to donate high quality books as Gaeilge to primary schools all over the country. read more…
