Is It Big Or Small?This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or pupils with speech and language difficulties. Its aim is to encourage oral language, especially sentence structure. The focus is also on the concept of big/small. The teacher can start with the question at the top of each card: “Is It Big Or Small?” This could be followed up with questions like “How Do You Know?” Questioning will encourage inference and deduction from the context.

Number Puzzle 06This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on skip counting. It is based on skip counting of even numbers 22-40 in a fun way. The resource features images on a school bus theme.

Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut each one up into ten separate strips. Laminate another piece of A4 card. Adhere a long strip of velcro to the laminated card at the top and the bottom.
