Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.
Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Seomra Ranga’s 4th Birthday

Today marks the 4th birthday of Seomra Ranga. It’s hard to believe that the fledgling site is now four years old. A lot has happened in the intervening years. What started out as something very small and intimate has grown beyond all expectations. I mentioned on Twitter last week that if you begin to type “seo” into Google.ie, the first search result that pops up is Seomra Ranga! I remarked in a blog post after year 1 that the visitor numbers to the site had passsed 67,000. This number can easily be reached in a month now. In fact, during the past 30 days there have been more than 50,000 visitors with more than 600,000 page impressions. Given that some of that period includes the holidays during August, they are staggering figures indeed. read more…

This resource is for teachers to help pupils learn the new responses and become aware of them.
