Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….


Interview With CEO NEWB – Call for Questions

Seomra Ranga is delighted to announce that Ms. Clare Ryan, CEO of the National Educational Welfare Board (NEWB) has kindly agreed to be the next subject in our interview series. Clare began her career in Patrician College, Finglas and served as Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator. She also worked as the National Co-ordinator of the Early School Leaver Initiative and Assistant National Co-ordinator of the Leadership Development Service (LDS) with responsibility for social inclusion. She previously held the position of Principal at St. Leo’s College, Carlow and has worked as an associate with LDS both in facilitating in-service for newly appointed Principals and Deputy Principals as well as lecturing and tutoring on the Post-Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership with NUIM/LDS. read more…

Being Online Activity Book

Safer Internet Day is part of a global drive to promote a safer Internet for all users, especially young people. The 8th Safer Internet Day will be celebrated on 7th February 2012 in many countries across the world, including Ireland, centred on the theme “Connecting generations and educating each other“, where they encourage users young and old to “discover the digital world together…safely”!.
