Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….


Maths Week 2013

Maths WeekMaths Week Ireland 2013 takes place from 12th – 20th October this year. Maths Week Ireland promotes awareness, appreciation and understanding of maths through a huge variety of events and activities. It is a great opportunity for schools to place an added emphasis on the importance of maths and how it affects our daily lives. “How I Learn” Book Launched

How I Learn“How I Learn”, the crowd-sourced book about learning styles and experiences, was launched last weekend at the CESI Meet and at the Féilte Festival of learning. It is the brainchild of Helen from the Anseo a Mhúinteoir website. Its aim is to change the way educators, parents and students learn, and how educators teach.  It all started as a result of a tweet she sent looking for a guest post on her blog under the condition that it stuck to the theme of learning styles and experiences. Blue Star Programme

Blue Star ProgrammeThe Blue Star Programme is an education initiative for primary school students across Ireland. The idea of the Programme is to foster better understanding and knowledge of the European Union amongst Irish primary pupils.
