Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Peg Addition 01
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on addition of tens and units. It is based on addition without regrouping. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into thirty-two separate cards. Pupils should work out the sum on the left side of each card (adding tens & adding units to get an answer) and place a clothes peg on the correct answer on the right of the card.
Peg Fractions 04
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on fractions. It is based on quarters and eighths of shapes. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into twelve separate cards. Pupils should work out the fraction on the left side of each card and place a clothes peg on the correct answer on the right of the card.
Number Puzzle 02
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on tens and units. It is based on consolidation of the numbers 10-20 in a fun way. The resource features six animals from My Cute Graphics website – cow, horse, bear, elephant, polar bear and dinosaur.
Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut each one up into ten separate strips. Laminate another piece of A4 card.

This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on tens and units. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into twenty separate cards. Pupils should work out the number that is represented on the abacus on the left side of each card and place a clothes peg on the correct number on the right of the card.
Peg Comprehension: Peppa Pig Nature Trail
This resource is aimed at junior pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of literacy work on comprehension. It is based on the Ladybird “Read It Yourself (Level 1)” version of the story, but could probably be used with any version. Either the pupil reads the story themselves, or the teacher/SNA reads the story to the pupil.

Tree Day 2014
The Tree Council of Ireland, supported by Tetra Pak, is calling on primary schools around Ireland to plant a tree to mark Tree Day 2014 on Thursday 9th October. As part of this year’s campaign, themed ‘What Can We Learn About Trees?’ or ‘Cad Is Féidir Linn A Fhoghlaim Faoi Chrainn?’, over 1,000 alder trees will be made available for primary schools through the Tree Day website, to help teach children about the importance of planting trees. read more…

Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into eleven separate cards. Pupils should look at the number on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct word on the right side of the card.
