my_name_sorting_02This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or pupils with reading difficulties. It focuses on the getting the pupil to recognise their own first name in print form. Based on a bubbles theme, pupils have to sort ten names – five being their own and five different names. The base boards are in the PDF file and the editable name tags are in the Word file.

It’s a great theme to employ in the classroom and gives some great opportunities for some cross-curricular and integrated theme work.
