Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….


Maths Trail (Infants)

The aim of this resource is to create an active Maths Week activity geared towards infant/younger pupils. There are seven different trails in the resource, based on the same sixteen cards which pupils have to find and tick off.

Handwriting Practice

The aim of this PPTX resource is to provide short paragraphs for pupils to practise daily handwriting in the classroom. It consists of a 10-week programme of daily exercises for pupils to copy into their copy/headline copy in order to practise their letter formation and handwriting skills.
