Tumble Books Cloud Service

Tumble BooksSouth Dublin County Libraries have introduced Tumble Book Cloud Junior, which is an online collection of ebooks and read-along books, graphic novels, educational videos, and audio books. The service is designed specifically for ages 7-11 years. You get unlimited access, from any device with an internet connection. You don’t even need to be a member of South Dublin Libraries to access the service. It includes world class educational videos from National Geographic, combined with lesson plans and online quizzes and are a perfect addition to classroom topics. [click to continue…]

Edcanvas is a website which I only recently came across. It is used to help students and teachers organise and present online content in one place. So, for example, let’s presume that you are starting a new topic or project in class and you are doing some research to gather your resources for the topic. Kandle Lenten Resources

For anyone not familiar with the Kandle website, it is the website of the Kildare and Leighlin Diocese which has been making religious classroom resources available to teachers for quite some time. These resources, especially those for Advent and Lent, are usually practical and are most suitable for use in the classroom.
