This visual art lesson is aimed at pupils in middle and senior classes. It is based on Mandala Art, believed to have originated in the fourth century by Buddhist monks. Usually consisting of a series of concentric circles and patterns, creating or colouring mandalas can promote mindfulness and relaxation.
