Some pupils with special needs, perhaps especially those with autism, will work better towards a goal when there is positive reinforcement in the form of tokens earned by completing tasks. While teachers will always allow pupils to go to the toilet when necessary, we all know that some pupils will use the excuse of a trip to the toilet as a work avoidance tactic. These Toilet Tokens are to regulate pupils’ trips to the toilet.
