Peg Digital Time: Quarter PastThis resource is aimed at middle standard pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on digital time. It is based on reinforcing the concept of “quarter past”. The pack contains 24 cards – half using the format “¼ past four” etc. and the other half using the format ” ¼ past 4″ etc.

Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 24 separate cards. Pupils should read the time on the watch on the left side of each card

Number Order 03This resource is geared towards younger pupils and SEN pupils. It is to be used to reinforce number order for numbers 1-20. Page 1 has a complete set of the numbers 1-20. The following nine pages have a number grid with some of the numbers missing. The last page has a blank grid where all of the numbers 1-20 are missing. Pages with missing numbers have a smaller number grid to help pupils identify the missing numbers.

Pupils could be asked to give an oral presentation outlining the plot in the movie. They could be asked to do a written movie review detailing the characters, plot, setting and movie ending. Either of these activities could be done as individuals, in pair or group work.

Peg Abacus 02This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on hundreds, tens and units. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into twenty separate cards. Pupils should work out the number that is represented on the abacus on the left side of each card and place a clothes peg on the correct number on the right of the card.
