Peg Time 01This peg numeracy resource is aimed at pupils in middle/senior classes or SEN pupils. It is based on the pupil’s knowledge of units of time – hours, days, weeks, months, years, seasons etc. The pack contains 18 cards – on the left hand side of each card is a question based on a unit of time. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify on the right hand side of the card the correct answer.

The pack contains 20 cards – on the left hand side of each card is a sentence with a word coloured red and underlined. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify on the right hand side of the card which part of grammar that word is.

Function: Is the library just for lending or do you see it as a place for study and research? Are you considering teaching in the area? Are you incorporating the idea of the library as a maker space?

Location: Ideally, it should be in a central location that is accessible to all students and staff. Classroom libraries are OK if there is no other facility available but ideally try to earmark a space for the school library. read more…
