Number trios demonstrate to pupils that when they choose any three numbers, they can make four number sentences with them, two addition sentences and two subtraction sentences. This resource helps to build up pupils’ competence in working with number trios.

This resource is to help pupils understand how two words can be put together to make a new word called a “compound word”. Compound words regularly occur in reading material so it is important that pupils understand how they are made up.

How Do I Feel Today?
This resource is to help put structure on a group or class discussion on feelings, asking the question: “How Do You Feel Today?” The resource uses feelings emojis with which pupils will be familiar. It also gives pupils feelings options apart from the usual “happy” or “sad”.
