Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

iPod Apps in Education Wiki
Over the last few weeks I have been working together with others involved in the pilot project using iPods in the Irish classroom to create a wiki listing of all the apps which we are using and which we feel are suitable to the Irish curriculum. Listed on this wiki are personal reviews and links to where you can download all of the apps that we are using. IPPEA 8th Annual Conference

The 8th Annual Conference of the Irish Primary Physical Education Association (IPPEA) takes place on Saturday March 5th, 2011 from 9.30am to 4.00pm in the Marino Institute of Education, Dublin. The theme of this year’s conference is “Finding the FUN in the FUNdamentals – Fundamental Movement Skills in Primary PE”. Registration for the conference is now open. A number of PE workshops will take place throughout the day. The cost of the conference is €40, €35 for members and €20 for students. Full details of the conference timetable are below:
