Cúla Caint App

Cúla 4 is the young people’s service on TG4. They have recently released a Gaeilge app designed for both iPhone and iPad. The app is aimed at younger pupils and provides over 100 fun Irish language words. The vocabulary is presented in four groups – Weather, Animals, Vehicles, and Parts of the Body. Kaspar Prince of Cats

This resource provides a chapter by chapter list of questions for the Michael Morpurgo novel “Kaspar, Prince of Cats”. These could be done orally, they could be used as comprehension questions or they could be used as a quiz at the end of reading the novel. A wordsearch based on the novel is also included.

Science Week 2011

Science Week Ireland takes place from Sunday November 13th to Sunday November 20th. It is an exciting and innovative annual event which first took place in 1996. It has grown to a programme of over 500 events scheduled across the country. It aims to make science more interesting and accessible to children and adults alike. It highlights science, technology and engineering as being hugely relevant to us all in our everyday lives; that it develops cutting edge innovations, leads to interesting and exiting career options and develops creativity in our children.
