Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The Irish Teacher Blogs website has recently been re-branded as EdBlogsIE. Featuring a brand new logo and name, the idea behind the site has not changed. It’s an aggregate site that gathers together blog posts written about educational issues by Irish teachers from primary, secondary and third level backgrounds. At present more than sixty different educators are contributors to the site, so it gives teachers a wide range of viewpoints on educational issues affecting Irish classrooms. It also gives a great insight into new ideas, new methodologies and innovative teaching styles that teachers are experimenting with in Irish classrooms. read more…
