Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. Shape Bingo 04
Educational bingo games are a great way for pupils to learn so many different skills. They help with listening skills, visual discrimination, group work, turn taking and the reinforcement of the learning content of that particular bingo game.
This bingo game focuses on regular 2-D shapes and colour. Shapes included are square, triangle, parallelogram, pentagon and more. It is aimed at a group of six pupils
Valentine Before and After Letters
These seasonal resources contain practice on the alphabet for junior pupils and SEN pupils. Based on a Valentine’s theme, pupils are asked to fill in the missing letter that comes either before or after the printed letter on the pair of kissing Valentine’s hearts! There are eleven missing letters to find on each sheet.
Valentine Hearts 01
This resource is aimed at pupils in infant classes as well as pupils with special educational needs. It focuses on cutting skills and ordering skills in maths. Pupils are asked to cut out the hearts and to paste them into the boxes in order starting with the smallest.
Valentine’s Number Bonds
These seasonal resources contain number bonds for junior pupils to practise. Based on a Valentines theme, pupils are asked to fill in the missing number in the pair of kissing Valentine’s hearts! The first file deals with numbers 0-5, the second deals with numbers 0-10 and the third deals with numbers 10-20.

MATHletes Challenge 2014
MATHletes Challenge 2014 is an online and in-person maths competition which uses the Khan Academy website to give thousands of students across Ireland the chance to compete with each other, and improve their maths abilities. It includes a Student Challenge and a Schools Challenge, and is open to pupils in 5th and 6th class, and Junior Cycle secondary school students. Over €20,000 in prizes will be awarded. read more…
