Peg Days of the Week
This resource is aimed at junior or SEN pupils who are learning the days of the week. It also focuses on the concepts of “before” and “after”. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 14 separate cards. Pupils, or their supporting adult, should read the question about the day of the week on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.

This resource is a visual recipe for easter cakes. It would be suitable for all age groups – but perhaps especially useful for pupils with SEN/ASD or literacy needs since they can do it more independently because of the visual supports in the recipe.

Peg Numbers Addition 10
This resource is aimed at infant or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on numeracy. It is based on the addition of three numbers up to 10. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 16 separate cards. Pupils should add the three numbers that the boy is holding on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.

Book Review: Rugby Warrior
Eoin Madden is young boy who aspires to play for Ireland’s rugby squad in the future. While becoming captain of his school rugby team he has to put up with his friends and the dilemma of whether or not to tell the coach to put them in the starting 15.
