Number Puzzle 06
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on skip counting. It is based on skip counting of even numbers 22-40 in a fun way. The resource features images on a school bus theme.
Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut each one up into ten separate strips. Laminate another piece of A4 card. Adhere a long strip of velcro to the laminated card at the top and the bottom.
What is She/He Doing? 03
This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or pupils with speech and language difficulties. Its aim is to encourage oral language, especially verbs, and sentence structure. The focus can also be on the pronouns he, she and they. The teacher can start with the question at the top of each card: “What is/are he/she/they doing?” This could be followed up with questions like “Where are they?” and “How do you know?” This type of question encourages inference and deduction from the context.
