Book Review: Friend Or Foe
Friend or Foe is set in Dublin in the 1916 Easter Rising. The main characters are Emer Davey and Jack Madigan both of whose families are on different sides, Emer’s family being on the side of the Volunteers, and Jack’s family being on the side of the law. Counting Task 01
This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or SEN pupils, at the beginning of work on conservation of number. It is a form of assessment to see whether a pupil has mastered the concept of the numbers 1-12. Pupils have to count the smiley faces on each card and match the answers with the appropriate images.
Arts in Education Portal Launched
The Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O’Sullivan TD, and the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys TD, today launched the Arts in Education Portal in Dublin Castle. Developed by both Departments, the Arts in Education Charter was launched in 2012.
