Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. Make 9 Cards
This resource is aimed at pupils in junior/middle classes or SEN pupils. Its aim is to help pupils who are beginning to learn addition tables. It could also be used as an assessment tool for addition tables. There are ten cards for pupils to Make 9.
Laminate all of the pages in the resource. Cut up the number sentence cards, the answers base board and the small answer numbers.
Opposite Words 02
This literacy resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils working on the topic of opposite words. The opposite words may need to be taught in advance and this resource could then be used as a form of assessment or it could also be used for independent work.
Laminate the three pages in this resource. Adhere Velcro to the blank boxes on pages one and two

Laminate all of the pages in the resource. Cut up the number sentence cards, the answers base board and the small answer numbers. Adhere Velcro to the blank boxes
Addition Tables
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils. Its aim is to help pupils who are beginning to learn addition tables. It could also be used as an assessment tool for addition tables.
Laminate all of the pages in the resource. Cut up the small answer numbers on every second page. Adhere Velcro to the answer spaces on the tables sheets, to the red boxes on the bottom of the sheet and to the rear of the answer numbers. Jumble up the answers and place them in the red boxes at the bottom of each tables sheet. The pupil then has to match the answers into the blank answer boxes.
Opposite Words 01
This literacy resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils working on the topic of opposite words. The opposite words may need to be taught in advance and this resource could then be used as a form of assessment or it could also be used for independent work.

Peg The Missing Number 02
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils. It is based on number sequences. The pack contains 20 cards – at the top of each card is a sequence of numbers with one number missing. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify which of the four numbers at the bottom of the card is the missing number from the sequence. All of the sequences involve numbers up to 100.
Book Review: Kings of the Boyne
I have recently finished the historical novel, Kings of the Boyne, by Nicola Pierce. The book was mainly about the famous battle, Battle of the Boyne. The chapters switched between four groups of people: – Gerald O’ Connor and his French friend, Jacques, fighting for King James II; the brothers Robert and Daniel Sherrard, fighting for King William III and the two kings, King James II and King William III. read more…
Hallowe’en Matching 01
This seasonal activity features twelve different Hallowe’en-themed images, four per A4 page. It is aimed at the development of visual perception. Pupils have to match the silhouette to the Hallowe’en-themed image.
Laminate all pages in the resource. Place velcro in all of the empty boxes on pages 1-3. Cut out the small images on page 4 and place velcro on the rear of these images.
