Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. Pupils are undoubtedly hearing all about the outbreak of the Coronavirus/Covid-19 on all forms of media at the moment. However, there is a lot of jargon associated with the discussion which pupils may not understand. This presentation/display posters explains the most common terms associated with the virus.
When to Wash Your Hands
With the current emphasis on washing hands in light of the outbreak of the Corona Virus / Covid-19, this display resource (in English and Gaeilge) is aimed at reminding pupils when they need to wash their hands. There are seven posters in the pack as well as a summary poster.
New Peg-It.ie Website
Our new baby, Peg-It.ie, a new website full of peg-based resources for SEN pupils as well as those in mainstream classes, has just been launched today. Hygiene Posters
With the current talk being all about the Corona Virus / Covid-19, there is a growing emphasis on our hygiene practices and the part that we all have to play in the prevention of the spreading of the virus. This pack contains nine visual posters (in both English and Gaeilge) to show pupils what they can do to prevent the virus spreading.

Book Review – The Sound of Freedom
This book is set in county Westmeath in 1919. The War of Independence has started. The story is about a boy called Colm who plays the fiddle and is very interested in getting involved in the struggle for Irish freedom.
