I really enjoyed this book because I like reading mythical and fantasy type books. I also loved the illustrations as they were really detailed and helped me with the understanding of the stories.

I found it very interesting because I thought that I knew a lot about the myths & legends of Ireland and I realised that I did not know much about any of the Ulster legends until I read the stories in the book!

My favourite stories in the book were “Paiste”, “The Great Brown Bull” and “The Horsemen of Aileach”, because I found these the most interesting tales and “The Great Brown Bull” featured Queen Maebh of Connaught, and I’m a Sligo girl after all!

I would definitely recommend this book if you like mythical books and I would also recommend it for 3rd classes and onward.

Thank you for letting me read this book and review it for you.
