This story is about a Grandad and a boy who pull a car out of the water while fishing. They find it is being driven by a mer-model. A big fisherman likes the look of the mer-model so they all have to escape.
I liked the bit when the boy and his Grandad pulled the car out of the river and when the junkfish tried to eat them while they were in the car. I would love to read more Mad Grandad adventure stories.
It is suitable for children aged 7 to 8 and I give it 8 out of 10.
