This Table Quiz, especially put together for Maths Week 2023 (October 14-22), comprises eight rounds of six questions, a Tie-Break Round, Maths Jokes between rounds and answers to all questions on 151 Powerpoint slides. It is geared towards pupils in the middle/senior end of the school.

Paper Weaving
Although this lesson is called “Paper Weaving”, it is much easier to do the weaving if it is done with card. This activity can be a little “fiddly”, so it may be better to do it with pupils in middle/senior classes. This lesson could be done as part of the Construction Strand of the Visual Arts curriculum.

This is quite a pungent activity to do in school as it involves oil paints and white spirit, so it should be done in a well-ventilated room such as the school hall or outdoors. Pupils of all ages can do this visual arts lesson and all pupils will experience success as there is little or no skill involved.
