This seasonal Write the Room activity is aimed at working on letter recognition, learning new seasonal vocabulary and practising handwriting and fine motor skills. The activity is based on 32 seasonal word/image cards. There are 10 different worksheets based on these cards as well as 10 more differentiated worksheets.

Hallowe’en Symmetry
This new seasonal resource consists of 16 different pages where pupils have to complete a selection of Hallowe’en-themed symmetrical images. The pupil is given half of the image on each page and they have to draw a mirror image on the other half of the page, colouring the image when it is completed. A reference image is also included to assist the pupil.

Counting Hallowe’en Ghosts
Focusing on the numbers 0-10, this seasonal numeracy resource can be used to help younger pupils and/or AEN pupils to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of basic number. Pupils have to count the number of Ghosts behind the gravestone on each card and attach the correct number in the blank box.

Matching Washing Machine and Detergent
This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes, SEN pupils or pupils who need some practice on visual discrimination and revision on colour. The resource, based on washing machines and detergent, aims to help pupils to use visual cues to match each bottle of detergent to its matching colour washing machine. There are up to twelve washing machine/detergent bottles for pupils to match.

This Table Quiz, especially put together for Maths Week 2024 (October 12-20), comprises six rounds of six questions, a Tie-Break Round, Maths Jokes between rounds and answers to all questions on 136 Powerpoint slides. It is geared towards pupils in middle classes, roughly 2nd-4th classes.
