Dolch words are a list of 220 “service words” developed in the 1940s by William Dolch. They consist of a series of eleven sets of words which are considered to be vocabulary which occurs most frequently in children’s reading material. This new year resource is aimed at pupils in middle and senior classes. It contains 31 pages and would would be a great activity to complete over the course of the first week or two of the new year, either in school or at home. There are lots of colouring, writing and decorating activities to be completed. The completed booklet would make a great keepsake for pupils.
