Christmas @ Seomra Ranga

With Advent having already started and the month of December beginning tomorrow, teachers are planning how to incorporate the season of Christmas into their classroom lessons. Seomra Ranga’s dedicated Christmas website has lots of resources for the classroom to help bring that seasonal feel to your Christmas lessons. The resources include Powerpoints on winter and Christmas; Christmas Wordles; words for Christmas Carols; notes for Christmas tunes on the tin whistle; quizzes with a Christmas theme; visual arts lessons; religious resources; seasonally-themed Dolch word lists;  foclóir na Nollag ar luaschártaí; Christmas vocabulary on flashcards; classroom door signs; Christmas food flashcards in English and Gaeilge; seasonally-themed Seanfhocail; seasonally-themed number lines; seasonal bookmarks; loop cards; worksheets; Christmas word walls; cártaí lúibe. Scoilnet Site of the Week

Three years after first being awarded the Scoilnet Site of the Week, the new Seomra Ranga website has again been recognised as the Site of the Week on Scoilnet, the Portal for Irish Education. Apart from some of Scoilnet’s own Themepages, as far as I can see, no other site has been recognised twice as the Scoilnet Site of the Week. This recognition of Seomra Ranga and its work by Scoilnet is very much appreciated. It makes all the hard work on the revamp of the site worthwhile. In this regard, due recognition must also be given to Debbie and James at Logis Media for their trojan work on the redevelopment of the new site. You can read the Scoilnet review of the site HERE.
