Buzzing With BooksBuzzing with Books, a conference to celebrate children’s engagement with literature, will take place on May 22nd and 23rd in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. The conference promises to be of particular benefit and interest for primary school teachers, as a range of educational workshops will focus on the newest methods of teaching literacy in the classroom. Picture Number Match 04This activity, with a hat theme, is aimed at infant or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on numeracy. It is based on the numbers 1-5. Laminate pages 2-4 in the resource. Place Velcro in the blank boxes on pages 2 and 3. Cut out the boxes on page 4 and attach Velcro to the rear of the boxes. Pupils then have to match the numbers to the pictures on page 2 and match the pictures to the numbers on page 3.
