Peg Digital Time: O’Clock
This resource is aimed at junior/middle pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on digital time. It is based on reinforcing the concept of “o’clock”. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 12 separate cards. Pupils should read the time on the watch on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.

At The Restaurant Bingo
Educational bingo games are a great way for pupils to learn so many different skills. They help with listening skills, visual discrimination, group work, turn taking and the reinforcement of the learning content of that particular bingo game.
This bingo game focuses on the theme of “At The Restaurant”. It is aimed at a group of six pupils, so it would be useful for Station Teaching or for Aistear work on the theme of The Restaurant.

This resource is aimed at infant/junior pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on numeracy. It is based on the addition of three numbers up to 20. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 16 separate cards. Pupils should add the three numbers that the boy is holding on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.
Minister Announces Book Rental Scheme Grants
The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairí Quinn T.D., has announced that all primary schools who currently operate a school book rental scheme will be able to benefit from the €15 million School Book Rental Scheme Fund which he secured as part of Budget 2014. Last October, the Minister was criticised when he announced that the €15 million fund would be targeted specifically at primary schools who did not currently operate a book rental scheme.Many schools who already had a scheme in place felt that they were being discriminated against for having the initiative to fund-raise in order to set up such a scheme. read more…

Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 14 separate cards. Pupils, or their supporting adult, should read the question about the day of the week on the left side of each card and place a peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.
Easter Egg Nest Recipe
This resource is a visual recipe for easter cakes. It would be suitable for all age groups – but perhaps especially useful for pupils with SEN/ASD or literacy needs since they can do it more independently because of the visual supports in the recipe.
