CVC Blending Discs 01
This resource is aimed at infant or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on phonics. It is based on CVC words with -an, -in and -en endings. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into 15 separate discs. The object in the centre of each disc is a visual clue for the pupil. Starting on the left of the disc and working clockwise, the pupil should blend the sounds to make the word.
Shape Repeating Patterns 01
This maths resource on repeating patterns focuses on the 2D shapes, circle and square. there are eight different coloured repeating patterns using both of these shapes. Pupils are asked to identify the pattern and extend it by saying what comes next.
Peg Colour Matching 06
This resource is aimed at infant/junior pupils or SEN pupils. It is based on learning and discrimination of colours with a “cloud” theme. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into twelve separate cards. Pupils should look at the cloud on the left of each card. The pupil should then attach a peg to the matching colour on the right side of each card.
Sentence Builder 12
These sentence builder activities are great for infant pupils as well as pupils with learning difficulties or special educational needs. They help to develop vocabulary, sentence structure and left to right orientation. They feature four word sentences with a “beach”theme that also focus on -ing verbs.
Peg Money Addition 01
This resource is aimed at junior/middle pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on money addition. It is based on the addition of money up to 10c. Laminate all of the pages in the resource and cut up into fourteen separate cards. Pupils should add the money at the top of each card and place a clothes peg on the correct answer on the bottom of the card.
Houses and Homes Bingo
Educational bingo games are a great way for pupils to learn so many different skills. They help with listening skills, visual discrimination, group work, turn taking and the reinforcement of the learning content of that particular bingo game.
This bingo game focuses on the theme of “Houses and Homes” and it features types of homes as well as rooms in a house. It is aimed at a group of six pupils, so it would be useful for Station Teaching or for Aistear work on the theme of Houses and Homes. Print out and laminate sheets 1-6 for the pupils.

Excited Digital Learning Festival
