What Is It? is a fun language game in PPTX format to play in the classroom. It is aimed at pupils in middle and senior classes. On each slide, pupils are given an unusual word. Three different possible explanations are given for each word. Pupils have to decide which is the correct explanation. There are 50 different words in the presentation for pupils to work out.

This peg literacy resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes or SEN pupils. It is made up of cloze sentences with one word missing. The pack contains 16 cards – on the left hand side of each card is a sentence about mice with a word missing. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify on the right hand side of the card which word would best complete the sentence from the three options given.
