With the beginning of the season of Spring, teachers will be planning on doing the theme of An t-Earrach with their pupils. The resource pack is intended to prompt talk and discussion as Gaeilge on the theme of An t-Earrach in the classroom. This Gaeilge display pack consists of a range of sentences on the theme of An t-Earrach, some prompt images of Spring, vocabulary labels and a set of questions in speech bubbles.

The 2026 Winter Olympic Games are being held in Milano-Cortina in Italy, beginning on February 6th. The aim of this display resource is make pupils aware of the names of the 16 different sports events that take place at the Winter Olympic Games and the categories that these sports are in.
Peg Initial Blends 01
This peg literacy resource is aimed at younger pupils or AEN pupils who are working on initial blend words in phonics. It is based on a pupil’s knowledge of vocabulary with br-, cr- or dr- initial blends. The pack contains 28 cards – on the left hand side of each card is an image. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to correctly identify the initial blend on the right hand side of the card from the three options given.
Saint Brigid’s Cross Story
This seasonal resource is a simple re-telling of the story of the St. Brigid’s Cross. The story is told in poster format made up of 15 illustrated posters. These could be printed out and displayed in the classroom or they could be read by pupils on the IWB.
Saint Brigid’s Day 2026 Bookmarks

These bookmarks are intended to help mark the celebration of St. Brigid’s Day on February 1st. There are 21 different bookmarks in the download in portrait and landscape and in both English and Gaeilge. The bookmarks are in blackline for pupils to colour and decorate and they are printed three per A4 page.
Can You Drink This Yes/No Activity 01
This peg-based literacy resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or AEN pupils who are working on a food theme. The resource features cartoon images of a variety of fluids including fluids you can drink, along with the question, “Can You Drink This?” to which the pupil has to answer yes or no, by placing a clothes peg on the correct answer at the bottom of the card.
