Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Matching Locks and Keys

This peg-based resource is aimed at infant/junior pupils and/or AEN pupils. It is based on learning and visual discrimination of colours with a Locks and Keys theme. The resource asks pupils to place a clothes peg on the key with the same colour as the large lock image, from the three options given. There are 16 matching cards in the resource.

Catholic Schools Week 2026 Colouring

To mark Catholic Schools Week 2026 in many schools around the country, this resource might be a nice way to celebrate the occasion. There are ten pages of blackline images with a religious theme for pupils to colour in. Each page has header text to colour in as well as the theme for this year’s week, “Called to Holiness” at the bottom of the page.

Grandparents’ Day 2026 Bookmarks

To mark Grandparents’ Day this week as part of Catholic Schools Week, this resource consists of a set of bookmarks in both English and Gaeilge. There are three different bookmarks in the download, three in English and three as Gaeilge. The bookmarks are in blackline for pupils to colour and decorate and they are printed three per A4 page.

4-Step Winter Sequencing

Putting a series of events into the correct sequential order can prove to be challenging for some pupils. This seasonal resource is aimed at younger pupils and/or AEN/Autistic pupils. It is to be used to give pupils practice in sequencing a series of four winter-themed pictures. There are sixteen different activities in this pack for pupils to complete the correct sequence.

Winter Symmetry 01

This seasonal resource consists of 13 different pages where pupils have to complete a selection of Winter-themed symmetrical images. The pupil is given half of the image on each page and they have to draw a mirror image on the other half of the page, colouring the image when it is completed. A reference image is also included to assist the pupil.
