Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. St. Patrick’s Day Image Mat
With the theme of St. Patrick’s Day about to get under way in many classrooms throughout the country at this time of the year, this seasonal image mat should be a welcome addition to talk, discussion and writing on the theme of St. Patrick’s Day, especially in junior classes.
Póstaeir Lá Fhéile Pádraig
This resource consists of a set of 24 A4 sized posters as Geilge to create a display of items associated with St. Patrick’s Day. Each poster has a suitably seasonal colourful border, an image of the item and a word label at the bottom of the page.
St. Patrick’s Day Bingo 01
This seasonal bingo game focuses on the theme of St. Patrick’s Day. Six different bingo cards are included, featuring twelve different images associated with the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. This game would be useful for Station Teaching or small group work.
St. Patrick’s Day Posters

St. Patrick’s Day Bunting
This seasonal resource consists of a set of chevron-shaped bunting with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. The bunting spells out “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” or “Lá Fhéile Pádraig Shona Duit”. The bunting has a seasonal tricolour photograph background with each letter printed on an A4 page.
Colours Table Quiz
This Table Quiz, with all questions on the theme of Colours, comprises eight rounds of six questions, a Tie-Break Round, Colour Jokes between rounds and answers to all questions on 174 Powerpoint slides. It is geared towards pupils in the middle/senior end of the school.
Spring Flowers Number Puzzles 1-10
This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or AEN pupils who need extra practice in the consolidation of early number. It is based on the numbers 1-10. There are 12 puzzles in the pack. The resource features images of common Spring flowers in the background.
Spring Trace and Colour
This resource contains two 15-page seasonal booklets aimed at younger pupils. Pupils have to trace the lines and colour the Spring images on each page of the booklet. This gives pupils opportunities to practise fine motor and colouring skills in a fun and engaging way. Both an English and a Gaeilge version of the booklet are available to download.
