Using a 100 Square to Add and Subtract
Getting pupils to find their way around a 100 Square is a great skill to teach. If they can master this skill, it will help with the development of mental maths skills. These posters show pupils how to use the 100 Square to add (by adding tens first and then units) and subtract (take away the tens forst and then the units).
