Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Christmas Around the World Research Project
This resource consists of a template for pupils to do a research project on how Christmas is celebrated in different countries around the world. Finding out about different customs and traditions about the Christmas season is a great way to include a literacy component into seasonal work in the classroom. The resource also promotes independent and co-operative learning.
Christmas Write the Room
This seasonal Write the Room activity is aimed at working on letter recognition, learning new seasonal vocabulary and practising handwriting and fine motor skills. The activity is based on 32 seasonal word/image cards. There are 10 different worksheets based on these cards as well as 10 more differentiated worksheets.

This seasonal bingo game focuses on the theme of Christmas. Six different bingo cards are included, featuring twelve different images associated with Christmas. This game would be useful for Station Teaching or small group work.

Signs of Autumn Writing Booklet
This seasonal resource is aimed at providing pupils in junior/middle classes with picture prompts for practising their descriptive writing skills. Each writing template contains an autumn-themed photograph as a writing prompt. Six prompt words are also included to assist the pupil to write about the photograph. The resource contains 17 different writing templates.
