Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Three Words Game 01

This new set of English Task Cards is aimed at pupils in junior classes at the beginning of work on blending two initial consonants. The cards are intended to be used as a fun game/task to consolidate their phonological knowledge of initial consonant blends. There are 27 cards in this pack, four per A4 page.

Dates For Your Diary 2025/26

The Dates For Your Diary resource is back again for its 13th consecutive year. So many teachers make use of this list while they are making plans for seasonal and related activities in the classroom during the school year. Welcome Back to School Notes

This FREE resource is just a short note to leave on pupils’ desks to welcome them back to school for the start of the new school year. Colour Items Posters

This resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes who are learning the names of colours. 11 colour posters are included in the display pack which contains all of the usual colour names that pupils should know. They are printed one poster per A4 page and each poster shows eight examples of items in that colour.

My Teacher Yes/No Peg Activity 01

This seasonal peg-based literacy resource is aimed at pupils in junior classes or AEN pupils who are getting to know their new teacher at the beginning of the school year. The resource features statements about their teacher which the pupil has to answer yes or no to, by placing a clothes peg on the correct answer at the bottom of the card.
