Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Help Tokens

Help TokensMany of our pupils with special needs have difficulty with their academic work and therefore may struggle to ask for help, especially if they are in the mainstream classroom. Therefore they will need a structure to easily allow them to ask for help. These Help Tokens are aimed at assisting the pupil to visually let the teacher/SNA know that they need some help.

Wait Tokens

Wait TokensMany of our pupils with special needs have difficulty taking turns or waiting – they can tend to favour immediate gratification. Therefore they will need to experience having to wait for something, even if this is for less than a minute. These Wait Tokens are aimed at helping the pupil to visually see that they have to wait a moment.

Break Tokens

Break TokensMany of our pupils with special needs have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time and will require regular breaks during work time. However, some pupils will use the excuse of needing a break as a work avoidance tactic. These Break Tokens are aimed at helping the pupil to regulate their need for breaks.

Valentine Bingo 01

Valentine Bingo 01Educational bingo games are a great way for pupils to learn so many different skills. They help with listening skills, visual discrimination, group work, turn taking and the reinforcement of the learning content of that particular bingo game.

This bingo game focuses on the theme of Valentine’s Day. It is aimed at a group of six pupils, so it would be useful for Station Teaching.
