Peg Christmas Spellings
This seasonal peg literacy resource is aimed at pupils in middle classes and/or AEN pupils. It is based on a pupil’s knowledge of spellings associated with Christmas. The pack contains 20 cards, with each card containing four different spelling versions of a Christmas item. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify the correct spelling from the four options given.

Christmas Dolch Word Mats
Dolch words are a list of 220 “service words” developed in the 1940s by William Dolch. They consist of a series of eleven sets of words which are considered to be vocabulary which occurs most frequently in children’s reading material. This resource contains each of the eleven sets of Dolch words on a single A4 page with a Christmas theme.

Book Review – The Stolen Child
The Stolen Child, a jewel of a poem, composed by W.B. Yeats when he was twenty-one years old, is illustrated and brought to life by Erin Brown’s vibrant artwork in this hardback book, published by O’Brien Press. W.B. Matching Christmas Baubles
This seasonal resource is aimed at infant/junior pupils and/or AEN pupils. It is based on learning and visual discrimination of colours with a Christmas Baubles theme.
