Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Ryder Cup 2025 Booklet

With Ryder Cup 2025 about to get under way in New York with Europe playing against USA, this booklet may be a fun project for middle/senior class pupils to complete. The eight-page booklet could be completed in class or it could be given as a homework assignment. There is space for lots of information to be filled in and lots of pictures to colour/decorate.

Book Review – Finn’s First Song

Finn’s First Song by Gerry Daly (creator of ‘Where are you, Puffling?’) is a beautifully illustrated picture book suitable for younger readers. It tells the heart-warming story of the journey of Finn, a humpback whale calf, who is on a big adventure to the Irish coast to find his dad, whose soothing song lulls him to sleep each night on the way.
