Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. Word Pairs 01
This resource is aimed at younger pupils or pupils with speech and language difficulties. It presents pairs of words which are almost similar in pronunciation. The pupil is required to say each word in every pair aloud making sure they pronounce them properly and differently.
“When” Questions
This resource contains a set of 50 questions beginning with “When”. Its aim is to focus in on one particular type of question and to help pupils to construct appropriate sentences as answers. It could be used with pupils in junior and middle classes or with pupils with speech and language difficulties.
Grandparents’ Day Resources
With Grandparents’ Day taking place next week, this pack contains a variety of resources to mark the occasion. It consists of fourteen different files with 62 pages of resources covering both literacy and numeracy.
“Where” Questions
This resource contains a set of 50 questions beginning with “Where”. Its aim is to focus in on one particular type of question and to help pupils to construct appropriate sentences as answers. It could be used with pupils in junior and middle classes or with pupils with speech and language difficulties.
Number Trios
Number trios demonstrate to pupils that when they choose any three numbers, they can make four number sentences with them, two addition sentences and two subtraction sentences. This resource helps to build up pupils’ competence in working with number trios.
Compound Words 01
This resource is to help pupils understand how two words can be put together to make a new word called a “compound word”. Compound words regularly occur in reading material so it is important that pupils understand how they are made up.
