Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Word Pairs 03
This resource is aimed at younger pupils or pupils with speech and language difficulties. It presents pairs of words which are almost similar in pronunciation. The pupil is required to say each word in every pair aloud making sure they pronounce them properly and differently.

The O’Clock Resource Pack
The focus of this large resource pack is on learning “o’clock” in time from the measures strand of the maths curriculum. It consists of 128 pages of photocopiable worksheets to help pupils learn “o’clock”. The worksheets contain examples of both analogue and digital time.
Compound Words 02
This resource is to help pupils understand how two words can be put together to make a new word called a “compound word”. Compound words regularly occur in reading material so it is important that pupils understand how they are made up.
PE Stations 02
This pack contains eleven posters for use in the PE class. It shows cartoon images of children engaged in eleven different forms of physical activity eg. side stretches, sumo squats, overhead squats, push-ups, star jumps, knee bends.

Yes/No Game 01
This resource is aimed at pupils in younger classes or pupils with speech and language difficulties. It consists of 50 question cards where the answer is simply “Yes” or “No”. There are two large “Yes” and “No” circles that can be used to place the cards when answered by pupils.
“What” Questions
This resource contains a set of 50 questions beginning with “What”. Its aim is to focus in on one particular type of question and to help pupils to construct appropriate sentences as answers. It could be used with pupils in junior and middle classes or with pupils with speech and language difficulties.
